REUSE Circular Stories: Ali Sedaghat, a circular hub perspective.
Ali Sedaghat Tarigheh is Circular Manager at Dura Vermeer Urban Miner, the company’s circular construction hub focused on high-quality reuse and logistic solutions for building materials. In this role, he leads initiatives to centralize and optimize material flows, reduce transport emissions, and advance circular economy practices within the construction sector, such as through innovative hub-based logistics and material harvesting. In this video, Ali explains how working with reused materials requires a deep understanding of existing resources and close coordination between designers, engineers, and contractors. He emphasizes that flexibility in both design and execution is essential, as reuse projects often involve unexpected constraints and discoveries along the way. Through experience and collaboration, he argues, reuse can move from an exception to a reliable and scalable way of building.

Ir. Kim Sinnige has been working for the Circular Impulse Initiative within the CBE Hub since 2022. She graduated cum laude from the faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at TU Delft in 2023. Her master thesis explored the embedding of circular values into a Waste-to-Energy plant through storytelling, Material Flow Analysis and design. She completed her bachelor with honors at the faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at TU Eindhoven in 2018. Between her degrees, she has worked in architecture offices in Utrecht and Arctic Norway.
